Are you tired of being a follower? (no, this is not a "become a leader today" speech..)

So a few (OK, like one lol) of my friends are curious as to how to become a "member" of my blog and not just a "follower".

(PLEAS NOTE: Being a member allows you to post comments and stuff - plus, you will probably get brownie points or something..)

 Well, all you have to do is:
1. push the "follow this site" button.
2. follow a few instructions. (username and password stuff.)
3. push the "follow publicly" button. (if you only "follow privately", you will not be able to enjoy the full experience. lol)
4. You're a member! yay!
5. I think you can edit your profile and picture of yourself, too. So, you can do that too if you wanna...

Tell your friends people! Post comments! It would be awesome to get more people on here! (Plus, I am getting tired of talking to myself.. haha)

What Would The World Be Like Without Smart People?

Well... I feel rather sheepish... 

Last night, after I posted the picture of my adorable little sister and I, I was talking to my dad about how sad it is that my laptop doesn't take good pictures (they are always dark, as you might have noticed due to the last post..). Anyway, later on that night, my dad was helping me proof read my American Literature Essay (on Huckleberry Finn, just in case you were wondering...). He looked up to the top of the screen, looked at me, and started laughing!! I was like, "What the heck?!". And he said, "Well Vallie, this might help your picture quality on your laptop!". And he peels off a clear protective sticker - the kind that you are supposed to take OFF BEFORE you take your pictures!! 

Like I said in the title of this post, 

WHAT WOULD THE WORLD BE LIKE WITHOUT SMART PEOPLE?

Good News, People!

Well, auditions for Narnia (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) went well for my family, friends, and I - in fact, we have all gotten parts!
My younger sister got the role of LUCY PEVENSIE! She is very excited!!
My older brother and I got the roles of animals for Aslan. And three of my friends get to be "bad guys" for the white witch. And, another friend gets to be Mr. Beaver. I think it is going to be a wonderful performance!! I can hardly wait to get started! ...Thankfully, I don't have to wait very long - we have our first practice tomorrow afternoon!!

Audition Day Jitters (it's like wedding day Jitters, but not for a wedding..)

I have an audition tonight at 7:00 and I am ALREADY shaking like a leaf!  (My Audition if for Narnia the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe... just in case you were wondering... =D)
So, I was looking for some comforting verses in the bible. Here is what I  found:
  
Joshua 1:9

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."


Pretty amazing, right?! I mean, think about it!
 1. God commanded us to not fear. 
 2. He said that we don't have to fear because he is with us. Even right now as you are reading my blog! Now that is AMAZING!

Here I am (again.) It's 7:34 a.m. & I am studying for an American Literature test that I have to take today. Yucky!

Ssssooooo...... Here I am. I now officially have my very own blog. And I officially can't think of anything more to say. I am only on my 3rd post people!!! Good grief.
