September.

Since my last blog post I have been really busy! I can hardly believe that in two and a half hours it is going to be OCTOBER! Craziness! Time has just flown right past me (Before I know it, I'm gonna be an old lady in the nursing home.. lol)

Here is what has been going on lately...

• Went to the New Albany Classic on the 23rd (to help Marmon Valley Farm out with their petting zoo) I had a super fun time and got to hang out with a bunch of friends!
• Started a babysitting job with my little sissy. We go every Wednesday morning at 8:20 to my church and babysit anywhere from 7 to 10 kids for a little over two hours while the mom's have a bible study. I have been having a really fun time & have gotten to know a bunch of really cute little kids! I think it ends sometime in the middle of November.
• School has been very busy and stressful. But I am enjoying it.. as much as one actually can enjoy doing school anyway.. lol I am taking a lot of fun classes this year (and some that are not so fun.. ☺) Mom is doing a good job in Spanish and Brit. Lit. (GO MOM!) I am totally loving Spanish- I've always wanted to take a foreign language and now I am! yay! (I am hoping to one day take Portuguese.. just to enhance your knowledge..) 
• On the 24th, My friend Hannah, her mom, Kristen, her mom, my mom, Rosie & I all helped to throw a bridal shower for one of our friends, Becca. I had a blast planning and throwing it with them. I helped ice cupcakes, they looked cute.. but I forgot to take a picture of them. oops! She is getting married October 27th- or something like that.. I am super excited! She is totally a cowgirl- so, my friends and I are planning to all wear boots and dresses- I bought my dress (green, blue, and dark brown) and I bought my boots on Friday at work. (I work on the gift shop at Marmon Valley Farm, so natuarally, we sell boots! haha) 
• We had a drama club meeting at the beginning of the month & we are having one tomorrow, too. I am excited! (We are putting on Snow White this year! yay!)
• I went to a super fun bonfire last night! (Thanks, Hannah & Daniel!)
• My cousin Cassie had her 2nd child yesterday! It's a boy and his name if Griffin (I forget if it was 1 "f" or 2..) Abraham (Abraham after my cousin Jared- his birthday was yesterday, too.-Jared is Cassie's brother, just so you know..)
• The 5 of us kids tried to pull and "all nighter" on Friday night! It was loads of fun. We stayed up really late (ok, 4am) and watched movies! It was a really fun time to be with my siblings and just hang out. =) But, umm.... I'm not sure that I've quite recovered yet.

Ok, well.. I'd love to stay and chat more, but I gotta run. I've got school tomorrow and a million other things that I have to finish tomorrow, too..) 

P.S. -Ok, just because it's almost not September anymore.. I would like to leave you with a closing song.. I'm sure you will love it, really! hahahahahaha =) (You're going to have this song stuck in your head forever!)

A Word of Advice...

At present, I would like to share with you a word of advice.

It goes a little something like this....

"Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away, and you have their shoes."

Excellent advice, wouldn't you say?!

1st Day of Classes!

Hey All! =)

Guess what?

I had a wonderful (!!!!) time @ co-op yesterday!!

I loved being with my friends all day- it was great!

My schedule looks something like this:

9:00-9:30 - study hall

9:30-10:30 - astronomy

10:30-12:00- consumer math

12:00-12:30- lunch

12:30- 2:00- british literature

2:00-3:30- spanish

3:30-???- wait for mom to finish talking LOL (jk, I was doing a lot of talking myself...)

It's going to be a pretty busy year though. Because, I have other classes that I'm doing that don't involve co-op (like Geometry, Writing, and Government.. although I have not started gov. yet lol)

But, I think it is going to be awesome!

Yesterday, I had a quiz in consumer math and I got one of the questions wrong because I forget to put the decimal point there!! That was not one of the smartest times in life, I guess. haha =)

I'm so blessed to have so many great friends in my life and to have a cool opportunity like this to hang out with really awesome people! (Thanks, Lord!) =)

Co-op is TOMORROW! My first day!! Yay! I'm super excited about it.. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow or Saturday =)

Vacation

Just got back from a fun week of vacation on Monday! (or was it Tuesday?) I have some pics  and fun memories to share with you, and I will get to them! I promise.

...I just have to download them off my mommy's phone someday... (The pictures, I mean. Not the memories.. LOL)

They Make Me Laugh All Day, I Tell You!!

Story #1

The other day, I was in the living room with my sister & little brother (Jesse).
We were have a pleasant conversation (probably about nothing...) with each other while Rosie was practicing piano. I was watching her play for a minute, and when I turned around to say something to Jesse...

He put his head inside his T-shirt and said, "You shall never see my face again!". He then ran out the room & crashed into all of the furniture, because, well.. his head was inside his shirt!

It probably doesn't sound like a very funny story.. but if you had been there, you would have been rolling on the floor with laughter with me! LOL =)


Story #2

Please Note: I am doing a Spanish class for school this year, so my parents have been talking in Spanish for like 2 weeks! LOL

I was walking up the stairs in my house while dad was on his way downstairs to the kitchen (or somewhere down there..). When we crossed paths, I smiled and said, "Hey, dad!" Then Dad smiled, and said something I didn't understand while he laughed... (like this:  "Es un placer ver su hermosa cabeza.. " I think that's what he said anyway...)

So, I laughed and asked what he said.

Do you know what "Es un placer ver su hermosa cabeza.. " means?!

He said it meant 'It is a pleasure to see your beautiful head!"
I was like, "It means what?!"
And he said, "It's all that I could come up with!"

Obviously, dad has totally MASTERED the Spanish language!!

My dad is beast. haha =)

Wet Erase? What's up with that?

So.. I have green EXPO wet erase white board marker all over my hands and my legs.


I would tell you to not be a "snoopy nose!" and to "keep your curiousness to yourself!", but since I was the one who opened up this can of worms, in the first place.. I'll let you in on this story.

Ok, so I have this wet erase marker (it's like a dry erase marker- except it only comes off when it's wet... usually.. duh!)

It looks like this:

So, anyhoo.. I have been getting everything ready for school/working on school for the past few days now. Yesterday afternoon, I was writing my name on all of my new binders, notepads, etc. I don't know why, but on one particular binder, I decided to use a wet erase marker to write me name. Well, evidently, it didn't work out that well... Because today, I was using that binder and I noticed that the marker didn't "dry" (what is the word I'm looking for? Help me out here, people!!) on the binder (whats up with that?!), so I just decided to wipe it off with my hand (my first bad mistake...) & try it again with a sharpie (which, by the way, worked out quite nicely, Thank You!)  So, after I wiped it off, I looked at my hand and I was like "Ah! My fingers are all GREEN!!" So, naturally, I wiped them off on my jeans- Well, that didn't work out so well for me either..

 For two reasons: 

1. I wasn't wearing jeans.. I was wearing a skirt.

2. I now not only have green marker on fingers, but also on my legs. *sigh* (when will I learn?) 

That marker won't come off! It just won't come off I tell you!! LOL

I tried to wash it off, too.. but it just got marker on the paper towel I was using! haha =) 

So, now I have marker on my hands, my legs, my school papers, and the towels. LOL

I'm suing.

HAHAHA =) Just Kidding!! =)
