Just letting you all know that I've just finished uploading more pictures for you to enjoy! (supposing that you enjoy pictures anyway... haha)

There are picture from my audition for Narnia and from the Spring Dance (and I think there is one from Quizzing, too.)

Can you believe that my co-op classes this year are OVER?! I am soooooo happy! YAY!

Now that school is pretty much over and so is quizzing, all I have to do now is finish up this play- Then I will be FREE... well, for like a month anyway... 'cuz summer camp at Marmon Valley Farm will start soon after. 

Polishing week for the play starts THIS Monday! ahhhhh! We will have practice like everyday from like 8 or 9 AM (I forget if it is 8 or 9 LOL) to like 4 PM. Those are going to be some LLLLOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG days! 

HAHAHAHAHA! FUNNY FUNNY =)

But, until then, I shall be rejoicing in the thought that I've finished school for now. 

El Rushbo Embarrassmento

You guys! I just wrote Rush Limbaugh an email!

This is Rush Limbaugh (El Rushbo).
Evidently, he enjoys cigars... just an observation.

Can you believe that? I was working on a history paper on the war in Iraq, when my mom said, "Why don't you write Rush Limbaugh an email and ask him for his point of view on this [war in Iraq]?"

So, I did.

Here is what it said:

Dear Mr. Limbaugh,

My name is Valerie Augsburger.  I am fourteen year old home schooled student.  I am studying American History this year, and for my last report I have to write a paper about the war in Iraq.

I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on these things; Was the war in Iraq successful? Why are American troops still in Iraq?  Why did we go to Iraq in the first place?  Also, do you have any other thoughts in this subject that you would be willing to share with me?

So, really it wasn't a terrible email... Except... AFTER I sent it, I noticed my stinkin' typo! urg. It was in the sentence, "I am studying American History this year..." I put a extra "y" in the year! It looked like this:

I'm sitting on the couch waiting for one of my besties, Sarah Dill [visit Sarah's Blob here!], to come to my house and spend the night. We are going to have a GREAT weekend! It is gonna be BEAST!! =)

Tonight we are going to hang out, maybe watch a movie... and get ready to get up early to go to Bible Quizzing Invitational Tournaments and start our first match by 9AM! Quizzing goes on all day and ends Sunday late morning/early afternoon.

Then tomorrow we have to go to the school at like 8:30AM.
I am SO excited about this weekend! It is going to be awesome!

Here, you go people. I know that this post is from last Friday, but since I have been busy and have not had much time to post anything (excluding today) I have decided to post this (even though it's old) anyway. Just for you and your personal enjoyment.

Well.. I finallyyy got that done! golly gee willikers! 

What did I finallyyy finish, you ask?

Well, I will tell you:

My Ernest Hemingway Author Profile for my American Literature! yayy!

Can you believe that I will not have to write another Author Profile for the rest of my freshman year of high school?! If that doesn't sound blissful to your ears, I don't know what does! =) haha Seriously though, I am totally excited that my co-op school classes end THIS Thursday! After that, all I will have to do is finish up this play in April, since Bible Quizzing is now over...

Oh! Bible Quizzing! I had forgotten all about it! Here is the update:

Saturday went well... we officially found out that the Pure Nard Bible Quizzing Team, of West Liberty, Ohio is NOT a morning team! haha =) Our first quiz was terrible. But, after that, we did really well. We actually ended up getting seventh or eighth place (I forget.)! It was really fun. And, we found out that next year, we will be quizzing over "the stories of David" in 1st and 2nd Samuel. I think that will be really fun! 

Well, now that I finished one paper, I've gotta work on my next one. 

yahoo.

Second Place!

Guess what?! We placed second in the Local Quizzing Tournament on Sunday!
It was awesome! Way to go Drew, Nathan, Sarah, Silas, Kristen, and Maryrose! We were beast! =)

It has been an awesome year for quizzing and I cannot believe that it is going to be over this coming Sunday after the Invitational Tournament. I wonder how far we will get- I'm super excited!

We had quizzing practice last night with some of the team, then we have it again on Thursday! This is sooo TINSEL!!

Catch Up!

Hey there!

Sorry I have not posted anything lately- I have been super busy with school, drama club and bible quizzing that I have hardly had time to even think about blogging! lol

With school, I was rushing to finish a family history project that was due last Thursday. I had like over four months till it  was due.. but I kinda forgot about it until the night before it was due! ....oppsies!! However, I am excited that I will be finished with school at the end of THIS month!! (yay!! jealous, right? haha jk)

For drama club, (as you probably already know, we are putting on Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) we have been very busy with       practices. We had a really BIG practice on Monday- 9AM to 6PM!! It was crazy! The Skunk was busy busy busy! haha =) Then on Saturday, my friend and I passed out posters all around time. It was actually kinda fun.

Quizzing has been good. It actually ends after this weekend! Sad day.

Ok, well I guess that is it for now.

Hey Guys.

Sorry I have not posted anything for a while. These last few days have been a total whirl wind. 

...Not that I actually have time to post anything right now.. but I am going to anyway. haha

So, I have come across some amazing bible verses tonight that I would L♥ve to share with you, because they have been a blessing to me in the past few "cRazY DaYs". 

Here ya go!

"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and rescues them from all their troubles."
-Psalm 34:17

"God is our refuge and strength, and ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the hearts if the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging."

-Psalm 46:1-3

"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my fortress, I shall never be shaken."

-Psalm 62:1-2

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears."

-Psalm 34:4

Throughout those four verses, you find that God is our help in times of need and a refuge in times of trouble. 

You know what else is awesome? God is always listening to us, when we pray to him! He is so ready to wrap his arms around us when we are discouraged, afraid, hurt, etc. and help us to get through what we are going through! 

He may not always take the pain, grief, or hurting away- but he WILL give us grace to go through it! 

So, no matter what kind of "cRazY DaYs" you go through... God is always going to be with you! 

and that is awesome.
