The Slaying of the Easter Bunny... =(

When my little brother, Jesse saw the forgotten Easter bunny chocolate in the cupboard tonight, he brought that out right away... to eat!!

This is the documentay of the end of the chocolate Easter bunny's small life- with pictures! (for your personal enjoyment...)

There lived a (super-duper cute!!) chocolate Easter bunny rabbit that ended up in a child's Easter basket... For a long time (ok, like two and a half week! Give me a break!) it just sat in the upper shelf of the kitchen cabinet utterly forgotten.

...Until... one day.. There was a little boy who was looking for a snack to eat (in order to spoil his dinner. Shameful! It's just shameful! jk jk ☺) and he spotted that yummy chocolate bunny! (dundundunnnnn....) At that moment the little boy brought it down and began the preparations to eat it.

(PLEASE NOTE : If you ever decided to embark on a chocolate bunny slaying yourself, please collect these items :

1. A cutting board

2. A knife

3. A chocolate Easter Bunny

Ok, that's all you need.)

Anyway, the boy placed the chocolate bunny onto the hard wooden cutting board. THUS- the slaying of the bunny :

This is Jesse and the Easter Bunny.

Please, a moment of silence for the Easter Bunny. 

May he rest in peace.

(Wow. That's weird look.) At this time, 

Jesse was taking off his polka-dot bow tie...

...And giving it to mom! LOL 

"Here you go, mom! Have a souvenir!"

Oh brother...

Ok, so I was in Sunday School this morning and my teacher was telling the class about an upcoming Youth Group event to a Cincinnati Reds game.

Well, I was sitting next for my friend, Kristen, and our conversation went a little something like this:


Valerie: Are you going to that?
Kristen: No, Fair is that week.
Valerie: Oh, yeah. Well, I probably won't go either. I mean, I don't even know what the Reds are! Baseball? Are the Reds baseball?
Kristen: BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! YES!


Yup.
I am a dork.
I don't even know who the Reds are.

But- have no fear! 'Cuz now I do.

Oh joy.

During the Open House...

So, as you probably already know, we have been trying  to sell our house. Well, Mom & Dad scheduled an Open House for Saturday (yesterday- 4/28/12) afternoon, so we spent all morning!! cleaning up the house. (Totally tortuous, I know! *sigh*)

Anyway after we finished cleaning, we had to leave for the Open House...

We went first to a local Mexican Restaurant, La Palma. Well, when I walked in, I saw this guy holding a beer bottle staring right at me and it scared the heck outta me! ...That  guy holding the beer bottle that I was just talking about turned out to be  a "cardboard image thingie"

After we finished eating (...and I said goodbye to all of my Mexican friends LOL JK) Dad took us all to an Antique shop (mom and the boys enjoy shops like that. Me? Not so much... ☺) Anyway,we went into the shop and....

So, of course I had to get my picture taken with him, too. ☺

Only, this time, it wasn't of an old guy hold a bottle of beer, it was a NASCAR (is that what it is called? NASCAR? Seriously. I'm not joking!) dude.  See?!

A Day with Great Great Aunt Wanda

So it turns out that one of the people in my family that I did a history report on this year is still alive and lives like an hour and a half away from where I live! Who knew?! Isn't that crazy?

Her name is Wanda. Her mom was a Cherokee Indian who was married at the age of like 13 to some dude who purchased her! (weird.) Wanda's mom, Annie (Tacket) O'grosky gave birth to TWELVE!! children!

Anyway, we (mom, Maryrose & I) had to go to a doctor appointment and found out (from my great aunt Gladys) that my Great Great Aunt Wanda is in a nursing home that is eight minutes away from where our doctor is! So, we got to go and meet her for the FIRST time ever! She is such a sweet old lady (I think 79 years old..) and can be really funny! ♥ She really liked our cell phones, how we could just pull up pictures and everything! LOL

Birthday Cake Pics

Take me out to a Ball Game?

If you know anything about me, you probably know that I am not very athletic. At all. (*emphasis on the "not very" and the "at all" part.)
But, I've decided to turn a new leaf. Even if I don't like sports or sporty things, I can a least be Ok at them and not a total failure.. A ridicules idea, I know. haha =)
So, anyway, back to the story....
I decided that I was going to make my little brothers teach me how to play baseball- actually I just wanted to know how to hit, catch & throw the ball. jk ☺- So, they probably spent over an hour and a half trying to teach me how to play.

It was funny!
I think I will just leave it at that...

My Birthday!

I've had a Great Birthday! I am sooo blessed to have amazing family and friends! (Thanks, Lord!☺)

My older brother painted me a beautiful picture of the Eiffel Tower- It's so amazing! I have an awesome and very talented brother! Here is a pic:

Awesome, right? It is just like the one I saw & wanted last week! I LOVE it! ♥

My little sister made me some cards. They are really cute!! 

And, my mommy and daddy got this AWESOME new desk for my room. I Love, love, love it! 

My friend, Kristen, got me a collage (Is that what it is called? A collage?) of pics of me with my family and friends and she got me this super cute notebook that says "Friends are there in sunshine and in shade."!! So cute! (BTW: Kristen, you are such a great friend! I Lovee you a whole lot!)

And my grandparents and friend, Drew, got me money.

And, a bunch of my friends (Kristen, Elise, Kyle, Drew, and Nathan) came over and hung out. 

Plus, my dad took us to see the Lorax on Sunday & we went out to eat to some new place that we didn't even know existed! (It was really yummy. just sayin')

It was a win win. HAHA =)

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to all of you crazy people out there! You're awesome! Thanks for making my birthday SO great!

Yesterday afternoon, my dad took us to see...
 for my Birthday. (which is today. yes, thank you for remembering. KIDDING!!!!! Haha =)
We pretty much HAD to go see it since we grew up hearing that story all of the time..
So we did. (go see it I mean..)

Oh my Gosh! That movie is sooo funny! You have got to go watch it!! It was great! ♥
