Little Bit 'O Latte

Guess what is not-so-new but really exciting?!

Last Friday (...or was it Saturday...) I made a real live, (actually, it wasn't breathing, so I don't know if that counts..) for real and for true, genuine, one-of-a-kind, totally awesome LATTE!!!

Personally, I hate coffee with a burning fiery passion.. (Actually, it's I don't hate it.. not really- I mean, I kinda like the smell.. but I think the stuff is pretty nasty myself. HAHA!!!) But, my dad loves it when I made him coffee.

So, he asked me to make him a latte. And, since I like super adventurous totally daring and life-threatening adventures (HA! Yea, right! Who is telling this story any how?! JK) I decided to do it! YAY!

First, I had to make espresso. Then, I heated up milk and had to "froth" the milk. After that, I poured the coffee and milk together and put the milk fluffy stuff on top.  It was a lot easier than I expected it to be.

ANDDD!!! It was a huge success! My dad  loved it and said it tasted like a real latte. (Like I was giving him a FAKE latte or something. geesh! People these days.. haha =) just kidding!!)

The only downfall was that the recipe (that was supposed to serve 2 people!) wasn't even enough to fill up HALF of a coffee cup! And so my dad drank the Little bit 'O Latte in like 2 seconds. And I didn't even get to take a picture of it so that I could boast about my awesome Latte making skills. (HAHAHAHAHAHA!) Bummer. KIDDING!! =)
