"Look what I have bought for you, Valerie!"

"Look what I have just bought for you, Valerie!"
It's a long story... But, since you insist, I will tell it to you:


Once upon today, I was at home with my little brother, Jesse, while my mom went shopping for food (and my sister's dress for the spring dance - which looks really pretty on her, maybe I will post a pic of her in it later, if you would like to see it. =D
Anyway, I spent my day dusting the living room, putting some laundry away, cleaning the kitchen, baking a cake (for the church dinner tomorrow afternoon..), and playing Wii with Jesse. 


So, when my mom gets home she comes into the house with armloads of groceries (and some other weird odds and ends) saying, "Look what I have bought for you, Valerie!" 


Wow mom! You bought me something! Thanks! You're a real pal!


Are you curious as to what it was exactly that she bought for me? (Well, thankfully I am well prepared and I have taken some pictures for your enjoyment. yay.)

 How did you guess that's what I was going to wish for my birthday?

I guess you just a mind reader or something, huh?

So, there you have it, folks! These *wonderful* presents will be keeping me occupied for the next few months. Maybe even years, it we're lucky!
