I got my hair cut yesterday... by my fabulous hair stylist Becky! yay!
(ignore the really bad hair quality in the pic.. I still have bed head, ok? haha)
Later, around 5:45 or so, Silas and I called our friends Kristen and Kyle to see if we could get together and hang out. Everyone but us two crazy kids (aka Silas and Valerie) were going somewhere... and we didn't have anything to do.
My 2 little brothers and my little sister went to a cast party for Aladdin Jr. (The play has actually ended over a month ago, almost two. Last night was the 3rd party they had, but they all said that they miss each other and the play, so they just keep having more parties! Those kids crack me up! (= haha! ) And my mom and dad decided to go on a date. So, that left Silas and I alone.
So, like I said before, we called our friends Kristen & Kyle to see what they were up to.
It ended up that Kristen was going to see the play/musical
with another friend, Abby, at the Bellefontaine High School because her cousin Elise was in it. And she asked if I wanted to come see it with them.
So, I went spur of the moment with Kristen & Abby to see the play, and Silas went to hang out with Kyle while we were gone.
We all had a great time together, and Elise did faboulous!! (Way to go girl!!)
Yep. That pretty much sums up my day..
Now I am stuck doing homework today. And my little brothers are blaring Civil War music. Bummer. You should feel bad for me. HA! Just Kidding =)
For your very own personal entertainment, while you are reading Vallie's Very Own Personal Blog Spot, I have included the lyrics to the Civil War song that is blaring at the moment. It's is called:
COCKLES & MUSSELS
In Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheel-barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
She was a fish-monger, but sure 'twas no wonder
For so were her father and mother before
And they each wheeled their barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
She died of a fever, and no one could save her
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone
But her ghost wheels her barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alrighty then.. that's kind of a weird song..
