I made homemade Pop-Tarts today because my little brother, Levi, was sure that I was a good enough cook to make them. (aka- Levi really wanted to eat pop-tarts. Bribery I tell you! Bribery!!)
So, I did.
TA-DAH! (is that how you spell that word?!) If I could make cheering sound effects right now, I would. 'cuz I feel like people cheering should be heard at this time.
They are strawberry & they are really yummy. Just callin' it as I see it. =)
But... I think next time, it will just be easier to drive 2 minutes down the road and buy some at Steve's (Market & Deli). heehee =)

P.S. If any of you are motivated enough by your younger brothers to make Pop-Tarts, here is a link to the web site that I found the recipe on.

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! & Happy Birthday! And whatever else you feel like celebrating because I gave you the link. haha jk =)
Levi is lucky you decided to indulge him.
ReplyDeleteHere are a few lines from my poem "Food Fight":
"Indulge and bulge:
The plight of the Baby Boomer.
But when the chips are down,
I refuse to frown.
Denying my body things
That keep it from it's best
Has now become my holy quest."
I am still working on that one sister.
Love ya, Granny
